Overview - Ready Set Play 2023
Hey, hey, hey! It's almost time for READY SET PLAY 2023!
Our Ready Set Play Covington summer kids’ activity program is popular with families and businesses alike! The program is a partnership between the City of Covington and the Covington Chamber of Commerce to help kids stay active during the summer while getting to know their community. Businesses love it too because they get to meet local families while getting additional exposure for their businesses.
The 2023 summer season for Ready Set Play is the program’s eighth year, and we expect this year to be our biggest year yet! Last year, we had 23 Brag Tag stops and 10 prize pack sponsors. This year, we are opening the program up to nonmember businesses in Covington!

For businesses
Since we started the program in 2016, Covington area businesses have loved participating in Ready Set Play, originally called Play Unplugged. They love meeting the kids, families and friends that visit during the summer. The time to apply to be a Brag Tag stop is now closed, but businesses can still provide items for the prize pack. If your business is interested in being included in the prize pack, please contact us at admin@covingtonchamber.org. If you'd like to put something in each pack, plan on 200 to 225 items. As an alternative, you can do a drawing for a larger item (e.g., bicycle, gift card, etc.) at the end of the Ready Set Play season. You provide the prize; we handle the logistics and the drawing itself.
