Can I set up early? - EARLY SET-UP WILL NOT BE ALLOWED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. This is a big one, it interferes with The Storehouse and backs up the parking lot! Covington Chamber members can begin set up at 9 a.m. All other vendors can begin set up at 9:30 a.m.

Can I get a refund on my booth? -  Once an application has been approved, vendor booth fees are non-refundable, even if the vendor cancels or fails to show up at the event. If the event is canceled by the Covington Chamber or the City of Covington, vendor booth fees will be reimbursed, but the Covington Chamber shall owe no other monies or damages to vendor.

Can I break down early?- No, this causes a distraction and creates danger if a vendor leaves early because customers are still walking around. 

Is this event indoors or outdoors?- Outdoors, so all vendors will need to bring the proper equipment for an outdoor event including canopy, weights, walls, etc.  (Weights must be at least 20 pounds per leg) 

Is this market for makers only?- Our makers' markets welcome makers, creators, bakers, crafters, artists, artisans and growers, as well as nonprofits, service clubs, traditional businesses and MLMs. The focus is on family-friendly fun. To participate, nonprofits, traditional businesses and MLMs MUST offer a family-friendly activity at their booth to encourage visitors at the market to engage with them. 

Do I need insurance?- All participating vendors are responsible for their own general liability insurance coverage for this event with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence. The Covington Chamber of Commerce and City of Covington should be listed as additional insureds. Vendors should be prepared to provide this upon request. Vendors who already have general liability insurance for their business typically just need to ask their insurance agent or company for a declarations page. This does not usually cost extra. Contact us if you are interested in general liability insurance. One of our members can provide a quote. 

Is there a deadline for the application payment?- Applications and payments must be received by vendors by 5 p.m. on April 30, 2024. 

Do you require masks?- We are NOT requiring masks however, all vendors must comply with local laws, rules and regulations imposed by the city of Covington, King County, Seattle King County Health Department and the State of Washington. 

Do I have to live in Covington, WA or be a Covington Chamber member?- No, we accept vendors from all over! You don't need to be a member of the Covington Chamber but members receive discounted rates and preferential placement.
