Good Work Fund

What is the Good Work Fund?

At the Covington Chamber, our work is rooted in two core values: strengthening our community and creating meaningful opportunities to do good together. In 2020, the Covington Chamber Board of Directors launched the Good Work Fund to amplify our collective impact and provide a direct way for the Chamber and its members to invest back into the community.
Members who invest at the Community Investor level ($1,100) or higher automatically contribute 10% of their annual membership investment to the Good Work Fund—$110 at the $1,100 level. These funds support a wide range of business and community needs, from food and hygiene supplies to DECA programs, school supply drives, and recreational scholarships for low-income families. Through the Good Work Fund, our members help turn investment into action and make a lasting difference where it matters most.

Microgrant application and review process

Using a microgrant model, our Good Work Fund committee reviews applications quarterly and awards grants based on merit, alignment with our mission, and financial considerations. Microgrants are awarded for $100, $250 and $500. Our microgrant program does not require you to be a Covington Chamber member or be a nonprofit.

The Good Work Fund committee includes Erica Miller, EDM Consulting LLC; Stephanie Hunziker, Hunziker Real Estate; Diana Patterson, The Patterson Real Estate Team; Jenn Sparks, Multi-Service Center; and Dana Neuts, Covington Chamber.
