Networking Events

Building connections is one of the top reasons businesses join the Covington Chamber. Each year, we host 20+ networking events designed to bring together business owners, professionals, and community leaders. To accommodate busy schedules, our events are offered at different times of the day, and except for special events, most are held on Thursdays for consistency. Morning meetups

Launched in January 2025, our Morning Meetups take place on the first Thursday of each month from 8 to 9 a.m. Hosted by Chamber members, these casual gatherings feature coffee, light refreshments, and plenty of opportunities to connect. Each attendee has a chance to introduce themselves and share a little about their business. With 10 to 25 participants on average, Morning Meetups offer a welcoming way to experience the Covington Chamber, build relationships, and meet potential partners. RSVPs are kindly requested as a courtesy to our hosts.

Business after hours

Join us on the third Thursday of most months for a relaxed, after-hours networking event hosted at a fellow member’s business. Gather from 4:30 to 6 p.m. to unwind after the workday, build new connections, and strengthen existing relationships in a casual, welcoming setting. While some hosts provide light refreshments, food and beverages are usually on your own. To help us plan, please RSVP by the Monday before each event. 

Quarterly luncheons

In March, June, September and December, the Covington Chamber will host quarterly luncheons to foster relationships, hear from popular speakers, and enjoy a delicious meal together. Our 2025 events include:
  • March 13:  Featured speaker Jenna Kaluza, a representative of the Affordable Washington initiative spearheaded by AWB and Washington Roundtable at Grill in the Woods at Druids Glen.
  • June 18: Joint luncheon with the Maple Valley-Black Diamond Chamber at Rein Fire Ranch. Featured speaker: Josh Gerstman on leadership lessons he's learned from 20 years of training and working with search and rescue dogs.
  • Sept. 11: Member September luncheon featuring executive coach Bruce deJong on the pursuit of happiness and Dru Garson of AWB at Grill in the Woods at Druids Glen.
  • Dec. 11: Ugly Sweater Party luncheon, program details coming soon!
