What is Covington Restaurant Week?
Welcome to our first-ever Covington Restaurant Week! Covington Restaurant Week is a nine-day celebration of Covington’s local dining scene happening on May 20-28 to showcase our local eateries through special offerings and promotions. With nine awesome restaurants serving up special menus and sweet deals, it’s the perfect time to eat local and support local! 

Join us for our Covington Restaurant Week Kick-off
Join us on Monday, May 20, at 4:30 p.m. at Covington City Hall for a fun Restaurant Week kick-off event! Mayor Jeff Wagner will start Covington Restaurant Week with a proclamation, we'll explain more about the promotion, and we'll have some fun surprises and giveaways. BONUS: The first 25 kick-off attendees will receive a FREE goodie bag.

How to get the most out of Covington Restaurant Week
Each participating restaurant is offering a special promotion during Covington Restaurant Week. Learn more about each restaurant and their offers by clicking on the restaurant logos below. To encourage diners to visit more than one restaurant during Covington Restaurant Week, diners will receive a Restaurant Week Passport at their first stop. Diners will get their passport stamped at each location, and each stamp represents a chance to win a restaurant gift card. The more you dine, the more chances you have to win! 

​Restaurant Week Passport Program
To encourage customers to visit as many restaurants as possible during Covington Restaurant Week, we will use a passport that restaurants stamp once a customer has dined there. At the end of Covington Restaurant Week, post a selfie with your passport and tag us on Facebook, email it to [email protected], or text it to 253-780-1555. Each restaurant you dine at is an entry into a random drawing for restaurant gift cards at the end of Restaurant Week. Why Covington Restaurant Week is important
Covington restaurants have faced many challenges over the past few years, including the pandemic, the rising cost of supplies, and staffing shortages. We want to shine a spotlight on our local restaurants and find a way to support them, so we created Covington Restaurant Week, supported by the Covington Economic Development Council (CEDC), a partnership between the Covington Chamber of Commerce and the City of Covington, Washington.

We hope the promotion will market participating restaurants, bring in more foot traffic and encourage people who prefer to "order in" to do it directly through the restaurant rather than through a third-party app. Covington Restaurant Week might make for a busier dining experience, so we encourage you to book ahead of time (where available), have patience, and share your experience!

Looking for ways to support local restaurants during Restaurant Week? Here are five easy ways to support local eateries.

1. Write a review: After dining, take a few minutes to leave a review online. Whether it’s on Google, Yelp, or another review site, your positive feedback helps others discover great places to eat in Covington, Washington.
2. Shout out on social media: Share your dining experiences on social media. Snap a photo of your meal, tag the restaurant, and use hashtags like #CovingtonEats or #CovingtonRestaurantWeek to boost visibility. 
3. Dine in: Enjoying a meal at your local restaurant during Covington Restaurant Week gives you the full dining experience and also directly boosts the restaurant's business.
4. Order in: Eating out isn't always an option for busy families. Consider placing a takeout order directly from a participating restaurant, rather than through a third-party app. Make sure you mention Covington Restaurant Week to take advantage of their special promotions.
5. Encourage friends and family: Spread the word! Invite friends and family to join you, or recommend your favorite spots. Personal recommendations are a powerful way to help restaurants thrive.
