2023 Covington Makers' Markets - April 29 & Oct. 7


Last April, we hosted our first Covington Makers' Market, a free, fun, family-friendly community event that supports local businesses, brings the community together, and raises money for the Covington Chamber to continue our work. It was successful beyond our expectations, and we held additional markets in August and October with similar results. Each event drew hundreds of visitors and residents, and dozens of vendors and sponsors. We are excited to partner with the City of Covington to present Covington Makers' Market at Real Life Church again.

Vendor Qualifications

Qualifying vendors include makers, creators, artists, artisans, growers, and local shops who sell locally-made or grown products in the Covington, Washington area. The April event is not open to MLM businesses or more traditional businesses (e.g., banks, investment firms, fitness studios, etc.), though those businesses can be event sponsors. Event sponsors at the $250 level and above may have a booth at the market. Our October Covington (Washington) Makers' Market will be combined with our Fall Fest, so it will be open to more business types.

Vendor Pricing

We know prices are going up everywhere, but we have decided to maintain our 2022 prices. 

  • $50 for 10x10' booth - nonprofits (members)*
  • $75 for 10x10' booth - nonprofits (nonmembers)*
  • $75 for 10x10' booth - member price
  • $100 for 10x10' booth - nonmember price
  • $125 for 10x20' booth - member price
  • $150 for 10x20' booth - nonmember price
*Nonprofits who are not makers or creators may participate, but they must plan a family-friendly activity to engage event attendees.

TITLE Sponsorship - $1,500 per event (includes a 10x10' booth)
​(1 TITLE Sponsorship available)
The Title Sponsor will receive top billing on all promotional materials, including all flyers, social media posts, news releases and event signage, and have the opportunity to do a 10-minute welcome at the start of the event. During the event, they will also have the opportunity to do a 10-minute presentation on their business. They will receive a 10x10' booth space and can have handouts or swag at the City of Covington/Covington Chamber Information booth. Additional promotional opportunities will be considered for sponsors who sign up for both the April and October events by March 1. [Note: Since there is only one title sponsorship available, the first sponsor to commit to this spot will get it.]

GOLD Sponsorship - $500 per event (includes a 10x10' booth)
Gold Sponsors will be listed as Gold Sponsors on all promotional materials, including all flyers, social media posts, news releases and event signage. They may have handouts or swag at the City of Covington/Covington Chamber Information booth. They will have 5 minutes during the event to talk about their business, and they will receive a 10x10' booth space. Additional promotional opportunities will be considered for sponsors who sign up for both the April and October events by March 1.

SILVER Sponsorship - $250 per event (includes a 10x10' booth)
Silver Sponsors will be listed as Silver Sponsors on all promotional materials, including all flyers, social media posts, news releases and event signage. They will receive a 10x10' booth space. Additional promotional opportunities will be considered for sponsors who sign up for both the April and October events by March 1.

BRONZE Sponsorship - $100 per event
Bronze Sponsors will be listed as Bronze Sponsors on all promotional materials, including all flyers, social media posts, news releases and event signage. They will not receive a booth space, but they may volunteer for the event to hand out flyers prior to the event or to help "day of." They can wear their logo wear and get additional exposure through volunteering. ​Additional promotional opportunities will be considered for sponsors who sign up for both the April and October events by March 1.

​Deadline to sign up for the April 29 event is April 5, 2023. The deadline to sign up for the October 7 event is August 31, 2023. 
You may sign up to sponsor the April event, the October event, or both at the same time with one application!
