Ratification processPer our current bylaws, the bylaws may be amended by a simple majority vote of the members of the Board of Directors. Board action amending the Bylaws must be ratified by a simple majority vote of members present at any membership meeting called for that purpose and/or by electronic ballot.
To comply with our bylaws, we will hold the ratification vote at the May 11, 2023 Networking Luncheon and Membership Meeting. Designated voting members in good standing who are present at the May 11, 2023 meeting will be able to vote by paper ballot. Electronic voting has not yet been approved. Each member only has one designated voting representative, so only one vote per member will be accepted. A simple majority of designated voting members is all that is needed to ratify the bylaws amendments as presented. If you have any questions in advance of that meeting, please contact executive director Dana Neuts at [email protected] or board chair Bridget O'Connor at [email protected]. Comments are closed.
