With a small staff, we rely on our Board of Directors and Committees to help us serve our members. Members volunteer or are asked to serve on committees in areas that interest them. Terms are typically one year and are renewable if the Chamber and member agree the committee is a good fit for their interests and the time commitment involved.
Clean, Safe, Welcome City Committee
The Clean, Safe, Welcome City Committee was founded by Justin VanLandschoot, owner of Covington Place, in October 2021. This committee meets monthly, and the primary focus is supporting businesses and the Covington community to make it a cleaner, safer, more welcoming city. The committee consists of three subcommittees - Clean, Safe and Welcome - each led by a different Chamber member. The committee is not restricted to Chamber members. Anyone can join who wants to participate. Committee members include:

Education Committee
The Education Committee does not have a set meeting schedule, but they are active throughout the year. They assist with scholarship recipient selection, helping with DECA competitions, serving on regional education boards and committees, and supporting our schools, students and educators.
