Covington Chamber Committees

With a small staff, we rely on our Board of Directors and Committees to help us serve our members. Members volunteer or are asked to serve on committees in areas that interest them. Terms are typically one year and are renewable if the Chamber and member agree the committee is a good fit for their interests and the time commitment involved.

Education Committee

The Education Committee does not have a set meeting schedule, but they are active throughout the year. They assist with scholarship recipient selection, helping with DECA competitions, serving on regional education boards and committees, and supporting our schools, students and educators. Chamber members who have participated in educational activities in 2022 include:

Good Work Fund Committee

This committee meets quarterly to discuss projects and initiatives to potentially fund during the upcoming quarter. The committee's recommendations are forwarded to the Board of Directors for final approval. Current committee members include:

Government Affairs Committee

This committee meets quarterly to discuss pending legislation, legislative candidates and legislators, and other government matters that impact - or could impact - our members. This year's committee members include:

• Sam Pace, Seattle-King County REALTORS

Covington Economic Development Council

The Covington Economic Development Council (CEDC) is an advisory group formed in partnership with the City of Covington, Washington. The Council meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at Covington City Hall, and members serve two-year terms. Covington City Council appoints five members to CEDC, and the Covington Chamber board of directors appoints five. Regan Bolli, Covington City Manager, and Dana Neuts, Covington Chamber CEO, serve as staff appointees. CEDC currently consists of:
